Abstract
Since the emergence of the Internet in the world, many changes and developments have occurred in all aspects of human life. These changes range from individual details and human characteristics such as behavior, habits, and mindsets to major events such as changes in decision-making methods and decisive political, religious, and international actions. What has attracted the attention of experts in recent years is the impact of cyberspace and the active presence of individuals in cyberspace in the field of political, social, and religious actions. There are many controversies and disputes over whether cyberspace has created a platform for facilitating political and social demands or is an obstacle to them.
The aim of this study is to examine the role of social space in the Iranian women's social movement. In this study, by studying 30 women's activists in Iran who were selected through purposeful snowball sampling, it was found that 84% of respondents believe that social space has a positive effect on the women's social movement in Iran.
As a result, policymakers and administrators should pay more serious attention to this area and provide the necessary training for social movement activists and related institutions to use these platforms better and more effectively. Instead of looking pessimistic, it is necessary to take fundamental steps in this area with proper thinking and planning and allocating credit and human resources.
