Abstract
This article examines the role and influence of ideological and political clergy in managing the Jihad of Explanation based on the teachings and Quranic ideas of Imam Khamenei (May His Shadow Last). Ideological and political clerics, utilizing comprehensive Quranic interpretations and the leadership’s guidelines, can play a key role in elucidating religious concepts, promoting the culture of jihad and resistance, providing moral guidance, overseeing and evaluating performance, fostering unity and cohesion, countering soft warfare and cultural invasions, and promoting justice and fairness. Therefore, the goal of this research is to identify the role of ideological and political clerics in explaining and managing the dimensions of this important duty within the armed forces. This research is of an applied nature and was conducted using descriptive and case study methods. The statistical community for the validity of the questionnaire includes 20 experts, while for the analysis of the questionnaire and inferential statistics, it includes 70 specialists in the cultural and political fields. The data were gathered using documentary and field methods, employing library resources and questionnaires. The results revealed that ideological and political clerics can play an active and effective role in managing the Jihad of Explanation, significantly contributing to the efficiency and cohesion of the armed forces and the Islamic community. Thus, based on the Quranic ideas of the esteemed leader, ideological and political clerics have roles in managing the Jihad of Explanation in two aspects: direct (with presence-based and non-presence-based components) and indirect (with managerial and promotional components).
