Abstract
In this research, where the main goal is to investigate the relationship between cultural capital and socio-religious identity of students of Khwarazmi University, Karaj Campus, by placing students of Khwarazmi University, Karaj Campus as the statistical population, we are looking to investigate the relationship between social-religious identity and the three dimensions of cultural capital among these students. .
Cultural capital is stable tendencies and tendencies and habits that are obtained in the socialization process.According to Pierre Bourdieu, the concept of cultural capital has three main dimensions: the objective dimension, the subjective dimension, and the institutional dimension. In this research, we are trying to investigate identity and its dimensions, which is divided into two forms of collective and individual identity. Identity is a link between the past, present and future and has a defining characteristic. Identity is one of the central and controversial concepts that many political and social thinkers are engaged in. Identity is formed from the dialectical relationship between the individual and the society And from the point of view of historical dialectical materialism, identities are complex, fluid, evolving and being reconstructed, and are determined by imagining in another form. The current research, based on the survey method among students, reached these results that there is a direct correlation between cultural capital and forms of identity, which had the highest correlation with national identity and the lowest with global identity. At the end, the implications of the findings and results obtained regarding future studies and cultural policies were discussed.
