The role of the Islamic revolution in the development of Shia political culture based on discourse analysis

Iranian political sociology studies consider the Islamic Revolution as a matter under political culture, and try to examine the possibilities of Shiite political culture in the formation of the Islamic Revolution. However, it seems that, in addition to the above issue and in a two-way relationship, we can also talk about the impact of the Islamic Revolution on Shiite political culture. The methods of the present research are the method of discourse analysis and try to examine the evolved component of Shiite political culture in the context of the Islamic Revolution. Accordingly, the collection of the present research was done in a library manner, and the study of documents and evidence was done using the method of documentary analysis, with the method of information discourse analysis. In this regard, the floating signifiers and othernesses arising from history in Shiite political culture in different periods are referred to. The findings of the research show that the damage of examining the discourses of different Islamic periods is that the Islamic Revolution has created a political transformation at a time in Shiite history that has changed the Shiite foundation for government and politics by changing the essence of otherness. So that since the Islamic Revolution, Iranian Shia understands the political as opposed to patrimonialism and tries to transform their political action on the basis of changing the perspective of the Islamic Revolution in the political sphere and by establishing religious democracy, which they initially introduce as Islamic democracy.
